WOCA Denmark: Bringing wood care products to life in 3D
A small product, treated with big attention
Not every 3D project involves hundreds of products, complex furniture or large-scale environments. Sometimes, a project starts with something much simpler, such as a canister of wood oil.
For WOCA Denmark, Phiro created detailed 3D models of their product canisters, providing high-quality product visuals that can be used across their communication and adapted as product labels change.
Because for us, the size of the project does not determine the level of attention it receives. Whether we are visualising a complete furniture collection or a single product package, every project deserves the same focus on accuracy, realism and quality.
WOCA Denmark has been developing wood care solutions since 1969. The Danish company specialises in products for the care, maintenance and protection of wood and other surfaces, offering solutions for both indoor and outdoor use.
From its production site in Lunderskov, Denmark, WOCA develops and produces products for private customers, professionals and industry, and today exports to more than 60 countries worldwide.
The company’s approach combines long-standing expertise in wood care with a focus on innovation and more sustainable solutions. Its product range includes oils, cleaning products, lacquers and other treatments designed to protect surfaces and preserve their appearance over time.
This focus on quality and longevity is also reflected in WOCA’s own mission, to keep surfaces clean and beautiful for as long as possible while respecting the environment.
Creating flexible product visuals for changing packaging
Product packaging needs to communicate a lot in a relatively small space. At the same time, packaging designs can change as products, markets and communication requirements evolve.
For WOCA, the task was to create accurate 3D models of their canisters, including products such as Wood Oil Natural and Hardfloor PU Coating.
Rather than creating a visual that would only work for one specific label version, the 3D models provide a reusable digital foundation. This means the canister itself can remain consistent while labels and product variations can be adapted when needed.
For a product portfolio with different sizes, finishes and labels, this creates a more flexible approach to product visualisation.
Photorealistic 3D product models, built for flexibility
We created detailed 3D models of WOCA’s product canisters, with a focus on accurately representing the physical packaging, materials, proportions and surface details.
The models were developed as reusable digital assets rather than one-off images. This gives WOCA a foundation that can be used to produce consistent product visuals and adapt packaging variations without starting from scratch each time.
The result is a practical 3D product visualisation setup that combines photorealistic quality with flexibility.
This approach is particularly useful for packaging and products where labels, colours or variants may change over time. Instead of organising a new photoshoot for every update, the digital model can serve as the starting point for future visual content.
Consistent, realistic and easy to adapt
The finished 3D product models give WOCA high-quality product visuals without relying on a traditional photoshoot for every packaging variation.
And while this project focused on a small number of products, the principle is the same as with larger 3D production setups:
Create it once, build it properly, and make it useful beyond a single image.
Small project, serious approach
No matter the scale of a project, our approach does not change.
Every product needs to be represented accurately. Every detail matters. And every project should result in visual content that is useful beyond the immediate delivery.
For another client, this might mean creating a furniture collection for WOCA, turning a simple canister into a flexible, reusable 3D product asset.
Different products. Different scales. The same level of attention.
